What a great day yesterday.
Lots of lovely ladies, somenew attendees and some ladies who have been before.
This time we were fortified by Chocolate chip cake and tea.
Many paper items were made by all and we all did a bit of crochet in the afternoon.
I certainly had a great day showing them all.
I’ve been making a few things for The Loft Shop in the Gallery @ Corfe.
- origami cards for Christmas with a Tree decoration on the from, some are Christmas trees of various sizes, others are double-sided hearts.
- origami gift boxes
- christmas stockings
- origami paper heart bunting
Saturday is our first Homemade Christmas workshop, our second one (part 2 – sewing) is in a couple of weeks.
Julie will be tutoring knitted and crocheted gifts and decorations and I will be making decorations and gift boxes from paper.
All our Craft Workshops are now listed on the Crafts by the Sea website.
The Boilerhouse gallery has had a change around to accommodate a couple of new artistes, Rachel Fooks and Elisa Jayne.
The loft shop has stock of buttons and jewellery and hearts from these talented artistes, the gallery has displays of their ceramics.
Once agin there is so much water lying around that the wellies have been in full use. On the picture of the welliesI hope you can see the wet mark as to how deep the water was on some of the paths. Any way the dog doesn’t care, love paddling and drinking his way through the puddles.
His summer allergies have cleared up and we are Hopefully back to normal until next summer.
Not much beach walking at the moment as we are in the middle of spring tides but should get back to normal next week. When it’s not raining or hailstones – yesterday!!! – the sun is out and its like summer with a little chill in the air. The beach on Monday was packed with people walking on what little bit on sand was available.
Have also met up with a couple of dog walkers who I rarely see over the summer, good to seem them and catch up. They have gained a new puppy friend and have lost a dear friend.
The deer are supplying the background noise at the moment but are not visible apart from the one in the photograph below.
Jaffa also went on his holidays to the farm, came back smelly, dirty and worn out – I think he had a good time with the other dogs, horses and trails through the forest.
Also the mushrooms are popping up.
I’ve finally succumbed and downloaded the WordPress App for my Ipad.
So if my posts look a bit strange , incomprehensible and the pictures upside down then blame the user of the app (although it does seem to work very strangely in places).
I also truely don’t get the working of the comments and replying to comments on the app…I’ll get there…
Knitting is so much easier…………..
